Privacy Policy
This is a translation for convenience. The Russian version at ironbeasts.pro/privacy is the legally binding one.
Version of 19 October 2026
This policy explains what data the game “Iron Beasts” (the website ironbeasts.pro and the mini apps in Telegram and other messengers — hereinafter the “Game”) collects, why, where it is stored and how to delete it. This policy has been drawn up in accordance with Federal Law of the Russian Federation No. 152-FZ of 27 July 2006 “On Personal Data”.
1. Who processes the data
The operator is the administration of the game “Iron Beasts” (hereinafter the “Operator”). To contact the Operator about any data-related matter: e-mail ironbeasts@yandex.ru.
2. What data we store
- Profile: in-game nickname, chosen portrait, date of creation and of last sign-in.
- Password — only if you have set one, and only as an irreversible hash (scrypt): we do not know the password itself and cannot recover it.
- Sign-in method: the numeric user ID from Telegram or MAX, if you signed in from there; for sign-in from a browser — a hash of a random key that the browser generated itself. We do not store your first name, last name, photo or phone number from the messenger.
- Game progress: completed missions and lessons, chosen side and squad, settings.
- Statistics: number of battles, victories, vehicles destroyed and lost, rating.
- Purchases: what was bought, when and for how much — so that the purchased items are in your profile. Payment is processed by the platform’s payment service; your card number and other payment details do not reach us.
- IP address when a profile is created — to limit mass registration by bots; it is stored for 2 days. IP addresses also appear in the web server’s technical logs, which are stored for 14 days.
- Analytics data on the website: Yandex Metrica collects anonymised information about visits (pages, referrals, device, approximate region) using cookies.
We do not request or store your real name, e-mail address, phone number, bank card details or geolocation.
3. Why
- so that you can play, save your progress and sign in to your profile from different devices;
- to match opponents and to maintain the rating and the leaderboard;
- to grant and keep the items you purchase;
- to protect the Game against hacking, bots and abuse;
- to understand how people find and use the Game, and to make it better.
The legal basis for processing is your consent, which you give by creating a profile or by continuing to use the website, and the performance of the user agreement.
4. What other players see
Your nickname, portrait, rank, rating and leaderboard position are visible to other players. Other players learn nothing else about you.
5. Where and for how long data is stored
Data is stored on a server in the Russian Federation. A profile is stored for as long as you use it. Profiles in which not a single battle, lesson or mission has been played are deleted automatically after 30 days without a sign-in. Database backups are stored for 14 days and then deleted.
6. Who data is shared with
We do not sell or transfer your data to third parties, except:
- the hosting provider on whose server the Game runs (server in the Russian Federation);
- Yandex LLC (OOO “Yandex”) — anonymised visit statistics via Yandex Metrica;
- the platforms’ payment services — to the extent necessary to process a payment;
- cases expressly provided for by law.
Telegram and MAX themselves pass your ID to the Game when you sign in; their processing of your data is governed by their own rules.
7. Cookies and browser storage
The Game stores in your browser a sign-in key, graphics and sound settings, and a copy of your progress — so that you do not have to sign in again every time. Yandex Metrica uses cookies for statistics. You can block cookies in your browser settings; without browser storage the Game will not be able to remember your profile.
8. Your rights
You may find out what data of yours we store, have it corrected or demand that your profile be deleted entirely — write to the Operator at the address given in section 1. Your nickname and portrait can be changed in the Game itself. We will reply within 10 working days. You also have the right to withdraw your consent to processing; in that case your profile will be deleted.
9. Children
The Game is intended for users over 12 years of age. If you are under 14, create a profile with the consent of your parents or legal guardians.
10. Security
The connection to the server is encrypted (HTTPS). Passwords and sign-in keys are stored only as hashes. Access to the server is protected and restricted.
11. Changes
We may update this policy. A new version takes effect from the moment it is published on this page; the version date is shown at the top.
